A Reminder for the Project you've been holding back

The scariest step in any project isn’t beginning.
It’s saying, “Here it is.”

Starting is exciting. The spark of an idea, the joy of shaping something that feels alive in your head and hands. That part feels natural.

But when it’s time to put it into the world? That’s when the fear shows up.

What if no one cares?
What if they don’t get it?
What if it just… falls flat?

I’ve carried those questions so many times. I’ve kept projects tucked away in drafts and notebooks safe, but unseen. And the longer I waited, the harder it became to imagine sharing them at all.

Recently, I decided to challenge that cycle.

And yes, I do share my thoughts publicly all the time. That part has become familiar to me, almost comfortable now. But sharing something I built? Something I poured time and care into? That still makes my stomach turn.

That’s where Bubble Buddy came in.

On the surface, Bubble Buddy was just a product I built. But for me, it was really an experiment in courage. Could I not only create something but also follow it through to the end? Could I trust myself enough to actually share it once I am done with the “making“?

I wish I could tell you it was easy, but it wasn’t.
The making was the fun part. The brave part was pressing publish and saying: “Here, I made this.”

And the moment I did, I felt something shift. Not because I knew it would succeed, but because I finally proved to myself that I could close the loop from idea to the making to the release. I could trust myself to carry an idea all the way through instead of letting it sit unfinished.

Here’s what I learned in the process:

The act of sharing is just as important as the act of creating.

When you share, you’re not just giving your work a chance to connect. You’re also building trust with yourself.

You’re saying: “I can follow through and I can stand by what I create.”

And that trust matters. It’s what allows us to keep going, to keep creating and to keep daring again and again.

So if you’ve been holding onto a project, a piece of writing, a design or a dream…maybe this is your reminder. Don’t wait for perfect. Don’t wait until you’re sure. Just let it breathe.

Because your work deserves to be seen.
And you deserve to experience what happens when you’re brave enough to share it.

P.S. I built Bubble Buddy as proof that ideas deserve to be shared. My hope is that it becomes that same reminder for you, each time you pick it up.
